No one is perfectly unbiased, including us. So instead of asking you to trust us, we show our work and let anyone check it.
We read every side
Each story pulls from outlets on the left, center and right. The full list of outlets, and how we label each one's lean, is public.
A fact needs all sides
Something only goes under "What everyone agrees on" when outlets from every side that covered the story report it. Anything else is shown as framing or as disputed.
Plain, neutral headlines
Headlines and summaries follow fixed rules: no loaded words, no opinions, no guessing, nothing added that the outlets didn't report. The exact AI instructions are published for anyone to check.
We show what's missing
When one side isn't covering a story, we say so on the page, so you can see blind spots on every side.
Everything is open
Our code is open source, every change is recorded publicly, and today's data is free to download.
No money in the loop
No ads, no sponsors, no paid placement. Nothing here is for sale, including our coverage.
When we get it wrong
Anyone can report a mistake. Reports and corrections are public.

Soon, readers will rate each page as leaning left, fair, or leaning right. A page will be marked fair only when readers on the left, center and right all agree, so one side can't outvote the others.
